Straight answers
No setup fee. You pay nothing until the site is built and you are happy with it.
You own your domain. If you ever leave, it comes with you. No hostage situations.
Update it yourself if you like. Standard and Plus include a login to change your hours, prices, menu and photos yourself, as often as you like. Changes you make yourself never count towards your monthly change requests.
Online shops are quoted separately. Taking payments and managing stock is a bigger job than a brochure site, so it would not be honest to put it in the same plans.

Common questions
What if I already have a website?
That is fine. I can rebuild it and move it across, keeping your domain and anything worth keeping. There is no gap where your site is offline.
Do I own my domain?
Yes. The domain is registered in your business's name and stays yours. If you ever move to someone else, you take it with you.
How long does it take?
Usually two to three weeks from our first chat, depending on how quickly you can get me your photos and details.
What do you need from me?
Your business details, opening hours, a list of your services or menu, and whatever photos you have. If your photos are not great, I will tell you straight and we will sort it.
Can I update the site myself?
Yes, on Standard and Plus. Sign in with your email address — there is no password, we email you a code — and you can change your contact details, opening hours, services or menu, and photos. Preview it, then publish when you are happy. If you would rather not, or you are on Starter, send your changes to me.
Can I cancel?
Any time, with a month's notice. There is no long contract to sign and no exit fee.
